Never too early for Halloween! It’s pretty much my favorite holiday! 🙂 My fave all time movies are The Exorcist (it still gets me every time) and Poltergeist.
It is my favorite holiday too.. I just love Fall and everything Halloween!
Nice list, but a little too heavy on gore, and “recent” stuff. There are some great older movies that are less graphic but more psychologically chilling: The Innocents, Seance on a Wet Afternoon, The Haunting (original version), Village of the Damned (original version), Repulsion, Diabolique. A classic horror-comedy is Roman Polanski’s “The Fearless Vampire Killers.”
Thanks for indulging this old guy’s movie picks!
I will have to check some of those out. These just have been the classic Halloween/scary movies for me!

Absolutely love this! Never too early to start watching Halloween movies!!!
A nice list for Halloween. I have ever watched a lot of movies on this list (Coraline, Beetlejuice, The Addam’s Family, Sleepy Hollow and others) but I don’t know “Hocus Pocus”, so this year I try to watch it for Halloween. I love Halloween and even if it’s not very celebrated in my country, I celebrate it every year. 🙂
Oh you really should! Hocus Pocus is a CLASSIC!
hanks for the ideas I do a scary movie a day 10-1 to 10-31 and forgot about some
